Writing is the art of giving voice to the human experience, turning complex emotions and shared truths into lasting words.
About Me
I'm a freelance writer based in New England, drawn to the stories, experiences, and people who shape our communities.
My own story began in Russia, where I was born before being adopted at the age of 13 and moving to the American Midwest with my family. Later, I attended Missouri Southern State University, where I studied Psychology—a field that deepened my fascination with human behavior and the many different paths people take through life.
After college, I spent eight years living in Miami before eventually finding my way to the Berkshires, where I now happily call home. As a freelance writer and reporter, I enjoy interviewing local residents, business owners, artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. One of the things I love most about journalism is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and learn about their experiences, passions, challenges, and accomplishments. Through my work, I strive to tell stories that inform, connect, and celebrate the individuals who make our communities unique.
Outside of writing, I enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking and exploring the natural beauty and cultural life of New England. I also work for a financial advisory firm in Great Barrington, MA.
